Rosary recited before every Mass Sunday, Saturday evening and weekdays.

 

Advent/Christmas/Epiphany Season. The cribs were erected in the Churches last weekend and each Sunday different figures will be added,Mary on 8th; animals on 15th; Joseph on 22nd; Baby Jesus Christmas Eve/Day; Magi 6th January. The crib will come down after 12th January.  If your crib at home has movable figures you might like to do the same as your family preparation for Christmas and Epiphany. At Mass during, advent we do not pray the Gloria, the Advent Wreath is placed in the sanctuary.  Flowers should not adorn the altar or sanctuary, but evergreens are permitted. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament – as well as the usual times for adoration in the Parish, during Advent on weekdays. Monday to Friday there will be adoration in St Malachy’s Church from 7am to 8am. The Tuesday morning Mass will be celebrated at 8amduring Advent.  Trocaire Gifts of Love for Christmas – order forms in Churches.

 

Confessions: The Pastoral Area agreed to have confessions in each Parish with the local priest – although there will be a Penitential Service in

St Mary’s Church, Aughnacloy on Monday evening 16th December. Confessions in this Parish will be available after the 7pm Mass and after

the 11.30am Mass each weekend during Advent.
