Easter Triduum: thanks to all who took part in the Easter Ceremonies and to those who set up the Altar Glen. There were great crowds at all the ceremonies, and I hope the liturgies helped in your celebration of the Lords Passion, Death and Resurrection. The weather was kind to us on Easter Sunday – thank you God!

First Communion – keep the children in your prayers as they make final preparations and join them on their special day by attending the Masses.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes 5th-10th May – Our Lady of Lourdes, St Bernadette, St Patrick pray for us. The recent collection raised £1035.38 and 11Euro for which the local Branch thank you.

Diocesan Synodal Congress March 2026 centred on Youth, Family and Faith. The Diocese wants the Parish to nominate delegates to take part in the preparatory discernment process and in the congress itself. Delegates will engage in a journey of listening, discernment and dialogue over the next year to help shape a renewed vision for family and youth ministry in the Diocese. Preparatory meeting will take place in May and November this year and February next year. March for Life 2025, Pro Life Campaign, Monday, 5 May, in Dublin at 2.00pm (meeting point: St Stephen’s Green). It is being held to draw attention to the increasing abortion rates in Ireland and to call for support for pregnant women and their unborn babies. All welcome.
