Sacrament of Recomciliation: as an initiative of the Pasrtoral Council there will be a Sacrament of

Reconciliation celebration on Thursday 24th October at 7pm in Church of the Immaculate Conception ,

Ballygawley. ‘Confession is an act of honesty and courage – an act of entrusting ourselves, beyond sin, to the

mercy of a loving and forgiving God.’ – Pope St John Paul ll.

Errigal Ciaran GAC – every success to the Senior Men in todays County Final. Come home victors and safe

travelling to all. The Club have organised a County Final Brunch in St Ciaran’s Hall from 10.30am to 12.30pm with

face painting available- County Final Day starts here!.

 

Miss Kathleen McConville will celebrate her 100th birthday on Monday 21st October. The Parish will mark this

very special occasion at the 11.30am Mass next Sunday.

 

Public Rosary. The Legion of Mary has organised a public Rosary to be recited at the cross in Errigal graveyard

today, Sunday 13th October at 12.30pm. Everyone is invited to join in this important Rosary for Faith and Life. In so

doing, we are joining countries all round the world on this day to pray for a return to the Faith and for the protection

of the unborn. Please make a huge effort to attend.

Applications invited for the St Columbanus Award Sponsored by the Knights of St Columbanus,  Omagh. Award is open to individuals under 25yrs of age, to groups from second level schools and Colleges and groups from parishes within the area of Omagh Council. Award aimed at projects which: (a) Encourage & inspire young people in the practice of their Catholic faith. Funded by SWAP – The Old Time/Social Dancing Class is back on Wednesdays at 9pm.  We would warmly welcome new members, especially as our numbers have been falling over the last couple of years.  At only £3 per night with a cuppa afterwards we can guarantee a good night’s craic while taking exercise at the same time.  The Reminiscence Group will next meet on Thursday 17th October.
